A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR CFOS AND SENIOR COMPANY OFFICERS

E-Com Systems is keenly aware that any consideration of change in a company's approach to EDI, or, in fact, its entry into the utilization of EDI for the first time, is of vital concern to CFOs and other senior company officers. For this reason, we are including this special message in our website for the purpose of addressing areas that we have found to be of particular interest to those executives.

Points that E-Com Systems would like to make in this connection:

* Ease of Transition to the E-Com System - Our system has been designed to make it possible to transition from existing EDI systems or from any other supply chain business transaction systems seamlessly and without any interruption whatsoever in the flow of documents. Our experience has shown that our provisions for seamless transition have been working well, and we have numerous testimonials to that effect from our customers. It should also be noted that where arrangements for EDI services exist with another VAN, these may be maintained on a standby basis temporarily so that they could be utilized in the unlikely event that a back-up system is ever needed (and costs for this back-up service would only be incurred if the system were to be used). Once your staff is fully comfortable with E-Com Systems, the original VAN service may be ended.

* Return on Investment (ROI) - Any analysis of the Return on Investment that can be anticipated from the adoption of the E-Com Systems approach to Internet-based EDI will reveal that, due to the truly minimal costs associated with the implementation and maintenance of our system and the much lower transaction costs, the ROI will be quite high.
